I understand that can have better lives in other countries but there is a set of individuals who can have a better life here in Lanka in terms of work hours to how much they could earn. This article is dedicated to them What is independence as a nation? The ability to live as an independent country and not having to depend on any other nation to thrive. Basically as at for today the country is running in debt which means that we're dependent on other monetary sources for survival. I see many in cues at foreign embassies, long cues in the passport office and many other looking out for foreign opportunities while they're already born in a beautiful island; Sri Lanka. It's a bitter truth that those Lankans who only have a genuine source of income, from deep within their hearts have got frustrated...
