Prescription ONLY from OTC

It's concerning how "prescription only medicine" are dispensed "over the counter" (OTC) for pets and other animals without a prescription of an authorized veterinarian. This month I had 4 cases of such toxicities in pets with both tablets and injections dispensed OTC Prescription only medicine may elicit potential health risks when not taken under proper guidance The same takes place in plenty among  production animals too. Leptospirosis awareness A timely topic as there's a Leptospirosis outbreak in the Northern province of Sri Lanka. I see a gap in the level of awareness on prevention and transmission regarding this topic although there are plenty of sources to explain the symptoms of the disease.
